Never tested my unit since it was installed

Tracker installed a unit on my vehicle in 2014. ever since then, it was never tested as per contract that it will be tested 6 monthly. i then called in on Saturday requiring more info on my contract and what is the testing procedure. I spoke to Mogadi who told me that she is testing on the system and later told me that she is receiving the signal meaning my unit is still working fine but she said she can not tell me the location because of the type of unit installed. Today I received a call that my system is not in working order and they need to intall new unit. My question is, HAD I NOT CALLED IT AND HAPPEN TO BE HIJACKED IT MEANS MY CAR WAS NOT GOING TO BE RECOVERED. As much as it is my duty to request testing, it is also tracker duty to monitor all our systems in case we forget to request testing, then a due date should reflect on your system. all along i am paying for a unit that is not working and i am thinking I am protected. that is very pathetic and annoying.
