Negligence and poor service

Tracker notified me of my unit not working 6 weeks ago, in the beginning of December ‘18 advised that they would arrange an appointment with a testing center to test the unit which never happened and I had to follow up and spend over an hour on the phone to book an appointment with a team leader’s apology and an excuse that she forgot to attend to my matter because she was about to knock off when it landed on her desk and also that the “heatwave” was affecting her, so it totally skipped her mind. I accepted such an apology and went to the testing center to which I was told the unit needs to be replaced, this was on the 7th of December. I have waited almost a month for my unit to be replaced, instead my account was debited 3 days earlier than the due date and still no call/communication regarding the replacement of my unit. So in essence my car has been at risk for over a month without a working unit!!

Tracker promised to send a technician to my place of reseidence to sort out my unit. An appointment was scheduled for the 7th of Jan, technician did not show up not make contact. I had to be the one who proactively follows up. I had to call in and request another appointment which was scheduled for today the 9th at 2pm. 2 hours later the technician has not showed up nor made contact. What I would like to know from tracker is if they cannot service me, charge for a service I do not have, why do they want to charge me a cancellation fee when I want to cancel the contract, seeing their are not fulfilling their end of the agreement? My vehicle has been without a working unit for over a month, which places it at risk, what should happen then should something happen to my car? Surely there are aware that it is an insurance requirement that I have a working tracking unit! Who is to be held responsible if I lose my car under any condition? Does tracker answer to an Ombudsman body? If so I would like to refer my case there because this negligence of theirs is of greater proportion than just dishonored appointments and horrible service!!!
