I've been experiencing issues with my car battery and start. Took the car in at Renault for a full diagnostics. The car is in good shape but there's something draining my battery. The technician suspected the tracking device and requested that I call tracker to come to their workshop for the device evaluation. I called and spoke to Nthabiseng who advised she will send out a request for their technician to go to the dealer and check the device. Furthermore, she advised that if the problem is not their device I'll be charged R500+ for a callout of fee. Of course I told her I won't pay that amount, I mean what am I paying you guys for every month????? Additionally, I asked if their tracking device has a lifetime span, she said: NO! Whenever the device is faulty they replace it. I've had mine for 4 years and you don't think it will be good for your business to have a clause where all devices are changed every 2-3 years? I mean what the heck???? She spoke to someone as I point blank refused to pay the callout fee if the issue is not with their device. I was told the amount will be waived. What nonsense is this???????? Why think of charging your clients, when we are paying you religiously every month. Stop this nonsense of yours tracker connect.
