The level of incomptence st Tracker has assured me that I'm paying for a tracking device as a formality required by insurance company.How can they find a ****** or hijacked vehicle when they are disorganized mess. Here is what happened My tracker stopped updating and I provided them with my work address where they can come and fix the unit. On the day they had arranged to come, no one came and no one called. I posted this on hellopeter and I got a call from a lady who informed me that their Technician came tried calling me but I did not answe. I asked her to provide me with the work address that the Technivian came to, she gave me a wrong address. After I told her that the address she just gave me is not mine, she apologised and advised me that a consultant will call me to book another date. Indeed I received a call from soneone who booked I provided her with my work address and she asked if it was a roof covered controlled access parking, I agreed. A Technician came and when he got to the car, he informed me that unfortunately he won't be able to repair the unit because the car was parked in a roof covered parking.He explained that he thought it was installation of a new unit which can be done under a roof covered parking. He further said for repairs the car must be parked outside the building.He asked where I stay if its a secured fence and I agreed.He said he will send an email to the office to send a Technician to my place on the past Saturday. I confimed with him that I 'll be home, he said I must wait for the call from the office. On Saturday I was at home, no one came no one called. Based on this scenario judge fr yourself if there is any prospects of recovering a ****** or hijacked car by these people. Certainly not, you can just call your premiums donations because when your car is ****** and heads to the North, they will take the oppositr direction and go look for it in the South. We find ourselves trapped in a marry go round situation designed to benefit and circulate money within their business units.The lack of urgency and diligence suggest that this is done deliberately to benefit insurance companies. Should my car be ****** or hijacked, the insurance company will repudiate any claim that I will lodge during this period on the basis that the unit was not fully functional. The question you should ask yourself is whether Tracker will take responsibility and pay the claim for amount that the insurance company would have paid. Who will be the biggest loser, ME not them. It's time that those who have business mind come up with a new business model to replace this sub-standard partnership between car insurance and Tracker companies. They have too relaxed because the model favours them by forcing every consumer who buys a car to take a Tracker Consumers are putting a lot of money in sustaining this industry but the industry is taking our queries for granted. What matters to them is profits. Once this post comes to their attention they are going to call and apologies 100 times as they usually do.By the way when I bought my car I was offered various Tracker options and I was told that this is the best package, if that is the case what kind of service is received by the average package subscriber.
