Hi Jacked vehicle not able to be tracked

My vehicle was HiJacked the 8th January 2016 just before midnight and I contacted Tracker within 5 minutes after the incident. Received a message that the unit has been activated. Luckily a friend saw my car drive with strangers and followed it and informed the police of the area that my car was in. I had my car in my possession an hour later. Sterling work by the SAPS. Unfortunately the same cannot be said for tracker who could not track the vehicle in Cape Town. Every hour after informing Tracker, I received a message that they have not yet recovered my vehicle. By this time my car was parked at home safely again. The morning I contacted Tracker and informed them that SAPS recovered the vehicle. I then received a message saying that Tracker is pleased to inform me that they have recovered my vehicle. I had the retrieve unit fitted to my car and have being paying diligently for months, thinking that in the event of a mishap my car would be tracked and retrieved. I am extremely livid at the thought that I was paying a company for a service they said they would provide. Today 12 Jan fitted a new unit to the car and removed the old one.
