Formal Dispute of Charges, SMS Fees and Cancellation Terms

I am extremely disappointed with the service and billing practices of Tracker Connect.

When the tracker was first installed in my vehicle, it was malfunctioning and continuously sending SMS notifications even while the vehicle was parked and not in use. I have now been informed that I am expected to pay for these SMS notifications, despite this appearing to have been caused by a faulty or malfunctioning system from the beginning.

I have also been charged arrears and cancellation fees, which I do not believe were properly explained to me at the time of installation or agreement. I do not recall being informed that SMS notifications would be billed separately or that cancellation fees would apply in this manner.

I have formally requested that Tracker Connect review any call recordings from when the tracker was installed and when the service terms were explained to me. I have also requested the following: • A full breakdown of all arrears and charges; • A copy of the signed agreement/contract; • The terms and conditions applicable to my account; • Any evidence or call recordings showing that SMS charges and cancellation fees were clearly disclosed and agreed upon.

At this stage, I formally dispute these charges and believe this matter should be reviewed fairly before any further action is taken against my account.

I hope Tracker Connect resolves this matter urgently and transparently.

Thank you for your response and acknowledgement of my query.

I would like to add further information regarding this matter.

When the tracker was initially installed in my vehicle, I contacted your team and advised that I was continuously receiving SMS notifications even when the vehicle was parked and not moving. I specifically reported that the tracker appeared to be malfunctioning, as these alerts were being sent without reason. I kindly request that you please pull the call recording relating to this matter, as this issue was reported to your team.

Based on this, I do not believe it is fair to charge me for SMS notifications that resulted from what appears to be a fault or malfunction in the tracking system. I cannot be held liable for charges caused by a system issue that I had already raised.

Furthermore, I would like to place on record that I do not even know how to properly navigate the Tracker app. I only managed to deactivate the SMS notifications today after seeing the invoice, and this was done with the assistance of one of your colleagues.

In addition, I wish to raise a concern regarding the service I received from a consultant named Lebohang. During our phone call, I attempted to explain my situation, but she was dismissive and rude. She insisted that I personally activated the SMS feature, despite me clearly explaining that I did not activate it and had no knowledge of how to manage those settings.

I respectfully request that this matter be investigated thoroughly, including a review of the relevant call recordings and account history, as I dispute being charged for SMS notifications and related fees resulting from circumstances outside of my control.

I look forward to your prompt resolution.
