I will thank you for handing me the opportunity to write a second review of my harrowing experience at the hands of the avowed elite tracking company - Tracker. I did not consider it wise to flap my mouth without legal guidance to ‘avoid incriminating myself’. I managed to get in touch with one Wayne who is the CEO and briefly explained my circumstances by sms. He consigned One Ron to contact me. Within a few days, Ron forwarded to my mail a hap-hazard account of what happened to my brand new 10 ton Toyota truck on the wee hours of Saturday, 11 July, 2020. To them it made a lot of sense and they said they acted ‘timeously. I am particularly dumb to understand how a helicopter expedited to recover the aforementioned truck could have been outrun by a slow moving truck - given that I had confirmed its theft within three (3) minutes. The recovery area was Tsepisong, a distance of 28 kilometres from Johannesburg. I later sent an sms to Tracker’s reclusive CEO explaining that the infant company, its 5 delivery staff and myself depended on the truck and that failure to grant us any financial compensation would lead to its closure. Again, he delegated one Ivan, who called himself head of operational services to send me a conclusive statement part of which reads: ‘I had discussions with my executive as requested by yourself, but unfortunately Tracker cannot make a financial contribution towards your loss ‘.
In conclusion, I think the executives at Tracker are either ******** or totally oblivious of the responsibilities they have on their laps. To them any theft of vehicles is mere statistics! This is explained in part by their lack of empathy and their choice of words. Their messages and emails are written and conveyed in a hurry and are full of paragraphic and sentence errors and the framing lacks professionalism. Perhaps the hewers of wood and drawers of water at Tracker’s establishments and maybe its foot-soldiers who do the toiling appreciate the grief and despondence of clients whose vehicles have been snatched by savages. My advisory to anyone reading this is simple: if your insurance company requires any tracking device just to complete your file, then Tracker is readymade for you! If your highly valued vehicle is not insured, please donot only stay far away from Tracker, avoid Tracker as a plague!
