Disloyal, *********, Exorting Tracker

I am writing to express my disappointment in Tracker for being disloyal and trying to ****** money from me. Tracker Account no: CLI*** I joined Tracker to cover my KIA early July 2023. Unfortunately, a month and a half later (end August) my car was ****** and subsequently burnt to the shell. This was reported and recovered by Tracker. Over a month later, I still had no car and I reached out to Tracker to confirm what the process is for me to cancel as it does not make sense for me to pay for a car I no longer have. I was then advised by their consultant that I can 1) keep the account open until I get a new car in which they will then instal a new tracking device, or 2) Cancel and pay a cancellation fee of a bit over R1000. I kept the account and scheduled an installation for my new car (02 October), and in the process of providing my new car details I even upgraded to a better product from the previous one. Nowhere in the conversation was I advised that I will be paying an admin fee of +R1000 to deregister the KIA...Coupled to this, my invoices and my Tracker Verification document only point to car registration of my new vehicle (BMW).

Fastforward a week ago I enquired to Tracker to remove the KIA from my app profile as it still shows on my dashboard and the interface does not give me the option to remove the car. I received a call from Dikeledi Glendah Maaladiatla (Tracker) and she advised that I first have to pay a cancellation fee for the KIA, however she then negotiated that I can pay a discounted policy fee on the KIA when I refused to pay a cancellation fee for something that was differently communicated with me.

This is not right!!!The only reason I stayed with Tracker even when I did not have a car was because of the options presented to me. What was communicated was that my KIA account will be transferred to the BMW, no R+1000 admin/deregistration fees!

I have asked Glendah to provide my cancellation fee as their disloyalty and ********* behaviour has left me with a bad taste in my mouth! She communicated that I will have to pay R3200 to cancel (which is for "both" vehicles)...
