Business makes no sense

I recently purchased a demo vehicle from a garage that had a Tracker Care unit installed. I contacted Tracker to take over the unit, however, they want to force me to take a 36 month contract or, if I wanted a month-to-month option, they want me to pay a R1800 to "install" the unit. They cannot actually explain to me what they are going to "install", given that the unit is already installed in my vehicle. This is a complete ****! And then I have to pay to have the panic button, which is glued in a terrible way to my dashboard, removed. I am absolutely appalled by how Tracker would rather lose my monthly payments on a month-to-month option than waive the R1800, given that the unit is already installed. Mr CEO, you should rethink this strategy, because it makes no sense and you are actually losing money. To be honest, I would rather pay one of your competitors an installation fee, as they will ACTUALLY be installing a unit that I will be charged for, than be ****med by your company.

You can confirm all you want that, according to you, the query has been "amicably" resolved. However, I am expressly confirming that this query has not been resolved in any way. Sending me an email confirming our conversation after our telephonic conversation broke up multiple times does not resolve a matter. I have rep**** to your email and am waiting for your response before addressing this matter with the Consumer Goods Ombud.
