Unfairly Treated and extremely dissapointed.

On 18 March 2016, I liaised with Annetjie advising that I had sold my vehicle and had to cancel my Tracetec (tracking device). I was provided with a cancellation form for completion and submission, of which I provided. No further debits (of R89.00) was processed through my bank account.

On 05 December 2016 at 1****, I received the following SMS from Tracetec: "Dear Fiona Singh, our records show an outstanding balance of R851.00 on your account. To avoid uninterrupted cover, please settle by EFT immediately." I also noticed that an amount of R99.00 was processed through my Bank Account on 01 December 2016, (I had not authorised this and immediately reversed payment and also placed a Stop Payment on my account - this all at my expense).

I also received an email dated 05 December 2016 which read: "Dear Fiona Singh, our records show an outstanding balance of R851.00 on your account. To avoid uninterrupted cover, please settle by EFT immediately. Tracetec bank details: Standard Bank Randburg (018005), Acc No: ********** 69, use 38472 (Billing No) as your ref. Tel: ********** 341, Fax: ********** 099, E-mail: **********
I then attmepted to call and as my call was not attended to.I then responded to the email with the following:

"Kindly note that I have cancelled my Tracetec since 18 March 2016, as my vehicle was sold. Futhermore, I find this matter to be unacceptable as I have not only received an SMS and email instructing me to pay an outstanding amount of R851.00, I also noticed that my Bank Account has been debited with R99,00, which also contradicts the R89,00 that I used to pay as well as conflicts with the cancellation and Stop Order on my records - which now allows the transaction (of R99.00) to be processed / paid through my bank account.

Please review and trace your email history, dated 18 March 2016 (time: 16h49), which is proof that the cancellation documents where provided to me, after a telephonic discussion confirmed that I have sold my vehicle. I have also re-scanned and attached the same document which was sent to you (the document itself was been dated 18 March 2016 - I circled at the top).

I would like this matter to be resolved and finalized by no later than the end of this week, and would also appreciate confirmation hereof. Also not, that I am not responsible for the outstanding R851.00 as communicated and would also like confirmation hereof.

Highly Upset"

On 14 December 2016, after contacting the centre and being informed that there was no record of any communications from me. I then followed up with another email:

"To whom it may concern

I am extremely dissapointed by the service and operations of your company. I have been in liaison with Annetjie in March 2016 to cancel my Tracetec account as I no longer have possession of the vehicle, of which I followed through with an email and cancellation letter, see attached.

My mail dated 05 December 2016 refers, of which I have not received a response / acknowledgement of receipt.

Today (12 December 2016) at 15h52, I conducted a follow up. My call was answered by Sarah, who indicated that Ruth would be able to assist. Bontle took the call and indicated that your system does not have any records of my communications, yeh! blame it on the system and not the *********** consultants / staff who are unable to do their job! I was told that I now have to referred the matter to Levine, whom is not available today and the only person able to assist with this matter. So I guess, I will have to call back tomorrow at my time and cost, in the hope to resolve this matter.

Kindly note that this is now the third time that I am submitting the cancellation document, and each time your company / staff is unable to resolve this my so called "outstanding balance" just continues to increase, of which you intent holding me accountable for (surely this is ******* and **********?). Yet, I have done the necessary and what is / was required from me.

I look forward to your feedback.

Frustrated and Unfairly Treated"

The only feedback I received are three automated / system messages acknowledging receipt of my mail, each one with a different ticket (reference) number and to date I still await assistance / response as no one from any of the three divisions / departments has been in contact with me (whether email / telephonically) and I am still yet to resolve this matter.

Further to this, I also received an email on the 6th of December 2016 indicating my Tracetec Debit Order for 1 Jan 2017, will take place on 3 jan as 1 Jan is a public hoiliday.
