Customer service

I've purchased a leaf frog educational toy and paid cash for this item tried to return thr item within 24 hrs reason being this toy was a duplicated gift I was told no refund of cash is done at store level and was asked for a bank account number in order for a credit refund.This I think is absolutely ridiculous if i paid cash i expect cash back in return .The Manager of that store has no customer courtesy and is arrogant. When i purchased the toy i was treated with dignity but to return it it was absurd. .
