unhappy child

Hi,

You advertised on Facebook that there will be a DIY Slime event at your branch in Canal Walk on Saturday the 14th April 2017.

I shared it with my daughter and her friends moms and asked if I can collect the girls to take them.

The kids were really excited, woke up early on Saturday and I collected them. I got at your store and lots of parents were standing around, to be told they sold out and that we had to purchase the slime and that they were not going to experience slime making at the store….

The manager who shifted the blame to the 2 young girls and to Head Office, refused to take any responsibility for this and the kids were all standing completely upset. My daughter who watches slime videos all the time had tears in her eyes because she promised her friends an entertaining play date and she felt she disappointed them.

How do you explain this to 9 and 10 year olds. Your store also had NO slime available.

THIS IS REALLY POOR ADVERTISING AND REALLY BAD. If you disappointed the adults, I’m sure we would’ve been fine but to disappoint kids… I drove all the way from mplain FOR THIS EVENT TO BE TOLD its not happening the way it was advertised and the store manager was no help at all, saying his in the same situation as us.

I hope I will hear from you.
