ToysRUs, what the hell?

Purchased walkie talkie on 27 December as birthday gift. Presented gift to birthday girl on 29 December. Static was overwhelmingly loud and noisy and so terrible that my niece could not even play with it. So, no birthday gift. 30 December I emailed ToysRUs Customer Service and received an automated response saying they would get back to me as my enquiry is supposedly important to them. Two weeks and several more emails later, still no response. I have called ***several times and Neliswa puts me through to customer service but the phone just rings. Then I tried Canal Walk *** as this is where I purchased it. Their phone also just rings. All I want to do is return it and the expensive batteries they sold me for the walkie talkie and get my money back. Why are you guys not accessible?
