Toys R Us Online delivery ****

I made an online purchase on the 5th of May 2020 for quite a few toys and at the time there were nothing on the website limiting a customer from buying any item regarding essential or non-essential, recently the website was updated now it allows only essential items to be purchased.

Unfortunately for me, I already placed my order online to nearly 2k for delivery charging me R65 and only received 1 email and SMS confirmation that my order has been placed and in picking. No confirmation of delivery in the email or SMS, infact in the email it says that they will stay in contact with me as the order progresses yet I have not received a single communication from Toys R Us. I visited the CapeTown Blue Route Mall store the Friday the 8th May and spoke to a Manager there he called the Boksburg branch and said they deal with online orders, he confirmed to me I will receive an SMS confirmation of my order and it will.be delivered by Tuesday. While in the store I received an sms but it was the exact sms I received the first time when I placed the order and it does not speak about delivery or anything to do with that it only confirms that I have placed an order and it is being picked. Its been well over 7 working days going in for a full 2 weeks now and no communication from Toys R us, unless I call which I have to do all the time I called the store they told me my order is not on the list for orders to be delivered they cannot find my order, I called.the call centre but no answer there ever. I called the store and demanded all my money back including delivery fee and I am still waiting on feedback its 2weeks and still waiting for a delivery that will never come. Waiting for my money back and seen all the reviews and I'm shocked as I am experiencing the very same treatment from this store I really feel like I've been ****** and ****med.

I am extremely angry and disappointed in this Business as it was my daughters birthday and she is still waiting on her gifts. I will never ever ever recommend to buy from this business unless u going to the store and paying cash. I'm done with Toys R Us
