Toys R Us can't handle Black Friday

Awful Black Friday experience. I knew exactly what I wanted and I was checking out a minute after midnight. Website kept giving errors. I made my payment and got another error. A moment later I received my order confirmation. Now I'm told my order isn't valid because my payment didn't go through. I have lost out completely. Very annoyed. If you website isn't working to accept payments and it doesn't communicate the problems properly, how am I supposed to know that my order has not gone through (after receiving an order confirmation)
