TOYS ARE US KIMBERLEY ... POOR SERVICE AND BUSINESS ETHICS

have had the worst service in years. The shelf price pointing up at Barbie, shows R349. At the till it shows R 649

I am appalled by this as I had my little niece with me and I said she could have the doll, based on the marked price!

With the manager being aloof and very unconcerned, telling me that the barcodes does not correspond. Am I supposed to read barcodes when doing any buying?

Than you so much for allowing us the time to investigate.

Once again we must humbly apologize for the service you received at our store.

As previously mentioned that the matter will be escalated to the operations manager whom has confirmed, action will be taken against the staff member but the shelf talker clearly shows it’s a “Reggies Combo Set of 3” no indication whatsoever of it being a Barbie product, so the bar code doesn’t match nor does the actual product even come close to the description therefor will not be honouring the R 349.90 price.

MY QUESTION IS.... AM I SUPPOSED TO READ BARCODES AND CHECK ON THE NAMES OF THE TOYS WHEN BUYING??? THAT BARBIE BIX HAD A FEW ITEMS IN , HOW SHOULD I KNOW WHATS IT CALLED???? IF FOUR OF RGE SAME TOY BOXES ARE PLACED BEHIND EACH OTHER AND THE PRICE BELOW , WITH AN ARROW POINTING UP, SHOWS THE PRICE, AM I TO ASK FIRST IF THIS THE RIGHT NAMING AND BARCODE FOR THE PRODUCT??? MUST I BE DOING THEIR WORK????
