TOY R US missing LEGO pieces in box aND CUSTOMER HAVE TO WAIT FOR A REFUND OR A NEW BOX

I bought a lego from the Woodmead Branch on the 24 Dec 2022. My son started to built the present on the 25 Dec 2022 however they was a package missing from the box. My husband want back to the store on the 26 Dec2022. The Manger **** that he did not have another poduct to exchange however the item was on the shelf, he then said that he has to wait for lego to assess the box.

This is unacceptable and the rudness of a manager who has no managemnt skills what so ever. He speaks to customers as if he is giving us the product for free.

If you are stocking lego items on your shelf youw ould have arrnagement with lego for missing items on a box, and why should my son wait for his gift!! Why should i as a customer have to wait for lego to assess a product that I bought on your shelf how do i Know if you a Toy r us even temperted with this box before I bough it!!
