Terrible service unsatisfied customer

I visited the Cresta store and. I picked an item that had the price of R149. I went to the till and the cashier tells me the price is R799. She then went to the shelf and saw the price and spoke to the manager.

The manager came and said that she can't assist me because she doesn't know what price was on the shelf I had explained that the staff member had also seen.

When the manager came she said the correct price was behind the price that I had seen n she doesn't know who put it there.

So she was actually trying to say she doesn't trust me or her staff member.

What happen to the days where you pay what you see?

The service was terrible and how can the price be there with 2 of the same items behind that price.
