Return/refund policy

I'm definitely not happy with the return/refund policy that they have which is not explained to customers. I received a gift from a friend with the receipt for in case I want to return what was bought or get a cash refund to purchase elsewhere. Only to find out that they want the persons card to do a refund my question is I don't want anything from this store and that this was a gift the person is not around how do I get a refund? They talk about gift card or i come with the card that was used but I explicitly said I don't want anything from them. Please help hello peter
