Ps5 pre-order messed up

Totally botched their PS5 pre-orders - the worst kind of service you could possibly have delivered: creating excitement on social media (a countdown) to a pre-order event, then having your site crash due to traffic (which you really should have anticipated, considering the hype around the PS5 launch), and even with this problem continuing to oversell on your allocated stock. You then send out order update sms' to indicate order in "packaging" status (further adding to the excitement), only to inform the customer 12 hours later of your mistake.

You have shown that you cannot be trusted with any pre-orders, and I'm angry at myself for even hoping you could have pulled this off.

I believe this kind of poor service merits some sort of recourse, hence I won't be supporting ToysRUs anymore going forward, as well as sharing my experience with others as a warning. There should in fact be laws against this kind of customer "service".
