Price you see is price you pay

On Tuesday, 3 march, I visited toys r us heathway. They are currently having a sale advertising a lot of toys at 50% discount. I saw a Barbie trolley whic was 399 now advertised for 199 (which is 50% off). At the till the cashier rings it up at the old price. I then queried it and the cashier called Florence for assistance. She asked her if it was 199. Florence immediately snapped no and turned her back. Now I already have my back up. I then said to her don't say no until you've checked. I took her to the shelf where there were two types of trolleys and the price of 199 was largely advertised across both of them. Even with this she continued to fight me and even called another shop attendant to prove her point. If you did not intend on discounting the product, why mis advertise. This is completely unacceptable and I should've been sold that product at the advertised price.
