Online video game promo

Last week Toys R us ran an online promo for 2 hours allowing customers to pre-order video games from their online store. The website did not respond when I tried to access it during this time slot, false advertising?<br> They then ran the promo this week again and once again the website was not transacting correctly, after multiple logon attempts, I had the pre-order games in my cart, checked out, entered credit card details, entered OTP from bank and was returned to their website with my cart being marked as cancelled by the system. By that time the limited stock had been sold out. I tried to logon again and when I did was logged in as a different user and could see all the personal details of this person. Upon checking various social media platforms, I noticed that many customers had the same experience, this is in contravention of the POPI act as my details have most probably been exposed now too, the company is obliged to prove that this did not happen ito the act.<br> A statement was issued online by Toys R Us saying they kept the info safe, but everyone has screenshots of when they logged in and saw other users` details. This is *********.<br> They need to honor the cancelled cart.
