Online Lies / Misrepresentation
i was searching for toys to purchase for my niece and nephew and came across Toys r us halloween special. It was headed ' Trick R Treat with a big caption advising, ' SPEND R 300 OR MORE WITH US AND GET A TREAT WITH YOUR ORDER ! ', valid till the 31 October 2015. I was at the East Rand Mall branch on Saturday the 31 October 2015, i proceeded to purchase toys for the sum of R 498. I then asked the teller for my treat and was advised that she knows nothing about it and called the Manager.<br> <br> The manger 1st - advised that he doesn' t know anything about it ( we were prepared and showed him what your website advertised ), he then went to ' speak to someone at the back

kindly note that we have investigated the adverti*****t and this was only Valid for all online orders as stated on the advert \get a treat with your Order\".This advert was never valid at store level as at store we make purchases and not orders.
