Manager ****** refused to honor advertised price.."it doesnt happen here"

Was at the Canal Walk branch this evening..to cut long story short there was a stack of kids character chairs ryt on top about 6 different characters,with a price R299.90 the sales assistant had to be on a ladder to get the chair..i chose the frozen character which was in between . .went to pay,walked of store then decided to check my slip then i saw was charged 399.90,went back to query..the 2 assistants saw the incorrect pricing and informed the manager "******" who told me point blank he wont honor the price on the shelf..his exact words "IT DOESNT HAPPEN HERE"...

Its principle to honour the price you have advertised.. In other words i was supposed to get onto the ladder to check every word on the label...6 different characters stacked one on top of the other,with one price on but they apparently all not same price
