false advertising

So my wife and i decided to buy the home 42 piece kitchen set for our little girl for her birthday, toys r us advertised a special, if u buy the kitchen u get a toaster and kettle with it as a combo deal. I went to the store today to buy it and they said they couldn't give it to me as a bundle i have to buy it separately, so isn't that false advertising? I would like a feedback on this asap please.
