Don't send kids to shop at Toys R Us, they will be denied entrance.

Kids R Us at Somerset Mall refused entry to my two granddaughters, as they had to be accompanied by an adult. And not very pleasantly, either. We were sitting across the Mall corridor in a café almost directly opposite and could see the shop entrance all the time. They are also not small children - the older one is 12, the younger is 9. They wanted to go in alone to spend a birthday gift voucher sent by their uncle, (probably to avoid the usual Granny comments such as "You are not spending that much money on that awful *******!"; and we would rather enjoy our coffee while watching to make sure they were safe. What a horrid experience for the girls. A toy shop that bans children. Ridiculous. The girls swear they will never buy from there again, and even want a refund of the voucher. This sort of treatment will be well publicized in their school, and to any other child that they know. Well done Toys R Us, you have just ensured lost customers for generations to come.
