Don't buy anything expensive with a warranty at Toys r Us

I bought a PS5 then 11 months later my controllers were malfunctioning Sony play station SA acknowledged and said i can bring the controllers with a copy of purchase receipt for replacement, i couldn't find my receipt contacted Toys r Us for reprint a simple thing as a reprint they couldn't doing even after showing purchase proof from my bank transaction as we speak I'm sitting with controllers that aren't working with an expired warranty.
