Disappointment with a product we purchased for Christmas !

I am writing to express my disappointment with a product we purchased from your store during the Black Friday sale. The product in question is the Jeep Gladiator with trailer and speed boat combo, which we bought as a Christmas gift for my son.

On Christmas Day, my son was thrilled to open the gift and play with the remote-control Jeep, which worked perfectly. However, when he tried to test the boat, it did not work as expected.

We live approximately 30 kilometers from the store, but we decided to make the trip on 26th of December to resolve the issue. At the store, one of your staff tested the boat in a small bucket of water, and it appeared to work fine. Encouraged by this, we returned home, and my son excitedly attempted to use the boat in our swimming pool. Unfortunately again, the boat would not work in the pool.

We then tested the boat in a small amount of water in the bathtub, and it worked. This suggests that the boat only functions in shallow water, which seems counterintuitive for a product designed for water play.

I am deeply disappointed as this issue has dampened the excitement my son had for his Christmas gift. It also appears to be a manufacturing defect, as the boat does not function as it should in typical settings like a swimming pool.

We believe this is unacceptable for a product at this price point. My son’s Christmas experience has been tarnished by this issue, and we feel let down by the product’s performance.
