Cresta branch do not tread consumers fairly according to the consumer law.

My mother and myself visit Cresta branch today for our Christmas shopping, we select the toys what we want to buy for Christmas, the total was about R3000.00 . There was one specific toy I like to buy, but I did not see any pricing on the toy, the specific toy was not on a shelve and was back in the corner of a passage, I did ask one of the floor assistant to check for me what it is priced, his name is Lusuko he checked for me and found a price on one of the boxes, the toy was priced for R299.00, I've asked him as second time if it is correct where he assured me it is the correct price and it is on a special. When I arrive at the till point the toy was R599, I then refuse to pay this because that was not the price on the toy. Me and the cashier went and I show her the price, she inform me that it is the wrong price on the toy , I insist to see the manager Leah Tinapane. She refuse to give me the toy for R299 and also tear up the pricing/bar codes in front of me, she told me Lusuko is new and is still in training. I told her that's her problem not mine as consumer. Lusuko also confirmed he did told me the toy is R299. I inform Leah that I'm going to report this to the consumer department which she informed me I am welcome to do this . I feel as consumer I have the right to purchase the toy as it was priced and which she destoryed (this can be checked back on the stores CCTV)
