Barbie sucks! - crying 10 year old

Friday my 10 year old daughter saved up enough money to buy herself a Lucky mer**** (***) for 129.90. It came in a sealed package that hardly qualifies as a box and this was torn to get the toy out and discarded. Going away for the weekend the new Barbie accompanied us only to have her tail fall off pretty much by itself as it was shown to her little sister. I inspected the tail that seemed to have been half glued and there was tell tail signs that it might have been \fixed"before as the fiber optic was twisted \""unnaturally\"". I told my teary eyed daughter we shall return it on Monday. This morning we entered the toys r us and found the toy. I produced the slip and asked to exchange it for another Lucky mer****. The sales lady said she will speak to the manager. She returned informing us that Mr. Thabang refuses to exchange the toy without the box. Unfortunately that container was destroyed while taking out the toy in the first place. Besides if you wanted the box why not take out the unbroken one and replace it with the broken one. It is a Barbie after all and not supposed to break within 1 day. I left the store with a crying 10 year old. I'm very very disappointed."""
