Bad treatment at Babies R Us Menlyn, Pretoria

Last week Friday, I had to go to this store to buy a babyshower gift for a friend of mine as it was part of her gift registry.l for her babyshower. I did that and because I was travelling with my 3 year old daughter, I put her in a trolley as soon as we got to the mall. She then cried for the bubbles making thing in the same store and so I paid for it together with the gift. I then proceeded to wrap the gift as it is self-service close to the entrance of the store. The security guard came to ask me to tell my 3 year old daughter to stop blowing bubbles in the store as it is going to make the floors dirty and customers will complain. I promise you, it was not even 2 minutes into me wrapping the gift and my daughter playing with her new toy. I told him that we will be quick and we are about to leave very soon. He continued to harass me and asked me to take my daughter outside and leave her there. A whole 3 year old????? In such a big mall??? In South Africa?? Where women and children are kidnapped and go missing each and every single day. I told him that I am also a customer and that we bought this same toy from this store. It was not even busy or full in the store. The most humiliating thing in all of this is how everyone in the store just stood there and did not do anything. I had to leave very quickly and didn't even get a chance to wrap my gift properly. I am so disgusted and so angry because I have never experienced this at the other branch I used to visit at Mall of Africa. I will not buy from there again and I have let everyone in my circle know as well.
