Bad service

Hi, I bought a travel system pram from Toys R Us (William Moffet Port Elizabeth) in January this year. My baby was born 25th April and I started using the pram from May side. In June the prams wheels starting giving problems, back wheel kept falling off and front wheel stopped turning. I went the Toys R Us closest to home (Baywest Mall Port Elizabeth) with my slip and spoke to the manager. The manager advised that they can't replace my pram because it's already been used and could only send it in for repairs. I was abit disappointed as I use my pram daily and would now be stranded without it for about a week (I was told a week). Got my pram back more then a month later as the repair places roof collapsed, so I was told. Collected my pram and it's been fine for about a month now. Today I went to Baywest Mall and as I entered the mall the back wheel fell off and the pram nearly tipped. I was so angry as my 5 month old could have been seriously hurt If the pram tipped. I went straight to Toys R Us at Baywest Mall and asked for the manager. The assistant manager Adri came and I explained what had happened and how unhappy I was that this is the 2nd time the wheels of the pram are giving problems. I advised her that I still have my receipt and need to know what is plan b now because I cant be without a pram. Adri advised that I would have to pay now to have the pram repaired as it's no longer under warranty. So I think you can imagine how I felt at this point. Why must I pay for a pram to be repaired that should work properly in the first place. What guarantee do I have that the pram will be repaired properly. I feel extremely dissatisfied with the service I received. The fact that no sympathy was shown or expressed was also rather disappointing. Surely there is some sort of customer protection in this regard. I need a fully functional pram. A pram that I don't need to fear my little one getting injured because of wheels just falling off. I would like a new pram as I'm not willing to have the pram repaired again and wait who knows how long again. I use my pram daily and can't be without it. Currently I must put my c****at in a trolley now as the wheel of the pram keeps coming loose. Looking forward to hearing from Toys R Us. Regards Colleen
