Bad Customer Service - Christmas Gift

Hope you are doing well. I want to express my dissatisfaction with my experience with ToysRus.

I went to buy my Grand Children's Christmas Gifts from the Vaal Mall Branch on the 22/10/2017. The item which is a problem is the Item code: ********** 001001 Sea Runner R 699.90

My grand son received it on Christmas day the 25 December 2017. He played with it only twice. After that when we wanted to switch it on it didn't want to. I took it on Sunday 27 January 2018 from them and went to ToysRus in River Square, Vereeniging just to discover that the branch were closing down. Then I went to ToysRus in Vaal Mall, Vanderbijlpark where I explain to them that it was a Christmas Gift and that it didn't want to switch on. Since it is only been on the water twice and still in it's box with the operating instructions ect. In my opinion it is only 4 days after the 30 days when he received it as a gift and I would like them to get it repaired.

No where in the store does they display that all remote toys or even all there products only have a 30 days Exchange/Refund policy or that they can't repair any of these products. I paid R 700.00 and at that price you do expect some quality. We didn't open it before hand and it wouldn't be fair to use it before the gift is given to a 5 year old boy. It is hard to explain to Kaleb that the boat is now broken and can't be fix.

I feel ToysRus is letting me down and I spend a lot of money with them throughout the year. I include my transaction slip and at the Vaal Mall I spoke to Pontso who contacted Jacky. I spoke to Jacky and she referred me to Tria. Tria contacted me this morning to inform me that they will not be able to assist me any further and I requested that she supply me with the details of the company you bought the Sea Runner from. I would like to contact them. It is very important that I get this item fixed since it is the only item my grandson wanted for Christmas.
