baby shoes worn for 3 weeks not accepted for exchange

2 pairs of baby shoo shoos bought on the 25th November 2017 at Cavendish branch One pair damaged within 3 weeks and one doesn't have a support inner sole like other shoo shoos shoes as result my baby was uncomfortable On New Year's day I went to Toys R Us Canal Walk to exchange the items I produced an electronic proof of purchase... salesman called Manager by the name of John Arendse. John Arendse blatantly refused based on the following reasons: 1. I must contact Shoo Shoos myself he can't do anything as a representative of Toys R Us 2. John argued that The items are not in their original packaging and It's past ToysRUs 30 day return policy... I bought the shoe to last and hence was willing to spend such an amount... but was worn for only 3 weeks 3. John Arendse Could not accept my e-receipt he instisted for a hardcopy 4. John said The shoe is damaged due to the way my baby walks 5. He did not want to entertain the fact that there was no support system in the other pair, he even refused to verify the pair against other Shoo Shoos pairs, he insisted that his branch might not have the pair, the shoe is rather sent away to Shoo Shoos for verification 6. Bear in mind that an e-receipt was accepted in the past at the same store just like every other ToysRUs stores but John argued that it's not his problem that it was done incorrectly. 7. I posted on ToysRUs South Africa Facebook page to express my disappointment and got no feedback from ToysRUs officials 8. After a very long draining argument John the manager took the shoe and promised to contact me the following day 2nd January 2018... I have not been contacted in any way, til to date. ToysRUs still has the items
