I am deeply disappointed by the level of service I received from Toyota, particularly from my service advisor, Talita. I entrusted my vehicle to Toyota with the expectation that it would be professionally diagnosed, repaired, and that I would be kept informed throughout the process. Instead, my vehicle remained at the dealership for more than two weeks, during which communication from Talita was extremely poor. Throughout this period, I had to repeatedly initiate contact to request updates. Very little information was communicated proactively, and when updates were provided, they lacked clarity and reassurance. As a customer, I should not have to chase the dealership for information about my own vehicle. What makes this experience even more frustrating is that despite my vehicle being at the dealership for such a long period, no definitive solution had been found, yet I was still expected to pay approximately R29,000 for repairs. It is difficult to understand how such a substantial amount can be charged when there is no cer*****y that the repairs will resolve the problem. I paid a significant deposit in good faith because I believed it would ensure that work on my vehicle would commence without unnecessary delays. Instead, I was left without my vehicle for weeks, with little communication, no clear diagnosis, and no confidence that the proposed repairs would actually fix the fault. I appreciate that certain vehicle faults can be difficult to diagnose. However, there is no excuse for the lack of communication, poor customer service, and failure to manage customer expectations. A simple phone call or regular progress updates would have gone a long way in maintaining confidence in the process. Being without my vehicle for over two weeks caused considerable inconvenience, particularly as I rely on it for work and my daily responsibilities. I hope Toyota investigates the manner in which this matter was handled, particularly the communication and customer service I received from Talita. Customers deserve honesty, transparency, timely updates, and confidence that they are paying for repairs that will actually resolve the problem. Unfortunately, this experience has fallen far below the standard of service I have always associated with the Toyota brand, and I sincerely hope no other customer has to endure a similar experience.

I took my vehicle for the normal service. They never call you to update the customer about the progress of the vehicle. Even if you left messages they never came back. As the customer you have to call their driver to collect you to pick up your vehicle. The last time I took my vehicle for the service I found that they were ready to leave while my vehicle keys were in the drawer of one of the consultants who never bothered to call me that the vehicle is ready. Their service is too bad.
