Toy burden....

I purchased a doll from toy kingdom that I had seen on the website. When going to the store to confirm that the doll on their floor could do everything the website said, they promised me it could. After giving the doll to my daughter for her birthday, the doll was not able to do anything. I sent an email to toy kingdom, and was contacted by head office telling me they would assist me. I just needed to go to Clearwater to get the right doll. I went to Clearwater and after about half an hour to forty five minutes, realized that they did not have the and that Cresta had 5. I went all the way to Cresta, another 30 minutes later, realized that the doll had been Incorrectly captured on the website. This is false advertising. I spoke to Bridget again who assured me that they would source the doll for me. It is now almost 4 days later and I have yet to hear a word.. I am absolutely disgusted in the service I have received. My daughter is distraught. In future I would rather support other toy shops rather than toy kingdom.

HI Leigh- Anne, thanks for taking the time to give us feedback.  We have spent some time in the last few days investigating where we went wrong with this product & got feedback this morning from our supplier.  You are 100% correct, our product description on the website is incorrect. The description was for the 38cm doll & not the one that you bought (33cm).  The error has been corrected, but unfortunately we do not have stock of the doll that has glowing cheeks.  Our intention was never to deceive and we tried to source the doll, but our supplier has no stock. We did offer you a better doll - the Hello Baby Doll 46cm, valued at R699.90, but you unfortunately declined.  Please accept our apologies for the confusion and if you change your mind about the Hello Baby Doll, please send us a mail on ***.
