A TERRIBLE COMPANY THAT HAS NO DECENCY AND PROFESSIONALISM TOWARDS PEOP

Dear Toy Kingdom. Please note that I worked under your company at Bild-a-bear workshop in East Rand Mall in 2013. it was my first job when leaving school.

in 2016 I was unemployed and I contacted the labor department to claim UIF. they notified me that I am unable to qualify for UIF because Toy Kingdom did not fill out a UI-19 form stating my start and end date of working for them. There after I contacted Build-a-bear East Rand Mall to no avail as the branch had been shut down. I then managed to get Hold of the HR manager Michelle at the time and she responded. I then sent through the UI-19 form template to her and asked her to please ask the relevant people to fill in the form. UP UNTIL TODAY I STILL HAVE NO RESPONSE and lost 3 MONTHS INCOME which I pay UIF for!!!

now in 2021 I am pregnant and need to soon apply for Maternity UIF. the labor department have declined me again due to the same reason. I have emailed ***, *** and even *** and STILL NO RESPONSE. I have tried calling your head office in Cape Town multiple times and no answer.

This is completely unprofessional and unacceptable that I am suffering for your companies incompetence. all I ask for is for that formed to be filed in so I can support my newborn.

I have reached a point where I feel the need to involve a labor lawyer as I am going to need my Maternity UIF . I have been paying my UIF from 2013 until now and am unable to claim because of you! Don't understand how a company can have no concern for people.
