Disappointment
We have been ordering Lego for my son on a few two occasions and in both instances, it was almost R3000 worth of Lego. With our last order, the items was flagged as "SPECIAL OFFER" and was also marked as available when we placed the order. Payment was made and we waited for 5 days and after not getting a response from Toy Adventures, we sent some mail to them and finally when they decided to reply, we were informed that they are still busy with the "picking order" phase and today, we were informed that the one item was not available but that we would be given an additional R50 plus the funds we already paid. Now we are being FORCED by Toy adventures to buy items we do not really want and we do not have the recourse to get a refund.... We contacted Lego headoffice telephonically and as a FREE call and in their opinion, this is bad for lego as well as the client (US) and they will investigate and let us know with regard stock. In the past, when we bought lego from the same shop Toy Adventures, one small part was missing from the box and when we contacted Toy Adventures, their response was abrupt, condescending and outright NASTY...... We then contacted Lego Headoffice and they immediately and within 4 days, sent the missing part to us at no cost and it arrived 4 days after we contacted them.... Perhaps Toy Adventures should take a leaf from Lego and realise that it is the customer that finances them and not that they are doing a favour to the customer.... Will never buy from Toy Adventures in the future as their attitude towards paying customers are non existent.
