Beware of Aran Int

The quote Tom sent was labelled bonus price, he assured us it app**** to the 1st of May. We requested for the invoice several times before Matilda sent one for the deposit only. They'd quoted R2185 excl VAT, deposit invoice was R1200, so we paid. Tom and Matilda stalled until the 3rd last day before they finally sent us an invoice for R3887. Tom O'Boyle said the extra was insurance. We asked for it to be removed as we had our own. They stalled until the last day when they were sure we had run out of time, they gave us back the R3887 invoice. Then Tom O'Boyle said that actually he had neglected to add a public holiday surcharge so we should just pay it. At this point we were fed up with Aran Int'l and we asked them to cancel the move & refund our deposit, they refused and Tom said he would send his debt collectors. Tom was extremely rude & arrogant. We then did an online review search & saw stories of people he had treated in a similar manner. We immediately cancelled the move, being a public holiday and month-end we ended up having to postpone the move to the 2nd of May incurring extra rental charges. He never refunded us.
