Touring - Travel and Tour Company a complete ****

We booked with Touring to do a private transfer from Johannesburg to Mjejane Game reserve on the 22nd December 2024 and returning 27th December 2024. The first transfer went smoothly without a hitch, Dilizintaba Magoqoza the Operations Manager was very responsive and our driver Sello arrived on time and the drive went smoothly. On the night of the 26th of December, we received a call from Sello stating that he was an independant contractor and he had not been paid by Touring to transport us back to Johannesburg the next morning. He then proceeds to tell us that the owner of Touring has passed away and we will now need to pay him R 11 000 to get home! Keeping in mind we had already paid Touring R 23 000 in full for both transfers! We had no choice but to pay Sello R 11 000 when he arrived to pick us up. Since arriving back in Joburg I have been calling and emailing Touring non stop to request a refund, the phone is off and no response to any emails. This is a complete **** and in actual fact its ******ion! DO NOT trust or make use of this company, even if the owner really did die, no one has been in touch to process a refund or even discuss a refund.
