Poor and unfair

My son purchased a pair of Toughees school shoes at Tembisa plaza on about April 2025, and the shoes size big as he purchased a size 9, I then exchanged the shoes at Pep in Joburg and same was done, the lady at the till requested by +more details of which I gave them however few weeks ago the shoe is torn, I do not have a receipt and there's no receipt on the +more as a result my son is going to school with a torn Toughees because I do not have proof, as a consumer I feel that either PEP or Toughees are failing me, because no one is willing to help me at Pep without the receipt, I ask if the manager has his January receipts for his kids uniform I did not get a response at Toughees please do right as the quality of your shoes is now poor
