Expensive bag with Guarantee not lasting

I purchased a Totem Trolley bag for my son January 2015 - I paid R999.95 for the bag, these bags have a guarantee, But the bags quality is not good. This bag is only a year old, and the handle for the trolley is broken and not working, the whole trolley handle came loose. I paid a lot of money and expect this bag to last longer than a year. I have purchased many Totem products and on expects these items to last. No happy at all
