Totalsports ****** me.

I bought my son a pair of rugby boots on Friday 14 March 2025 at Totalsports in Worcester Mountain Mill Mall @ R1119,96. This was at a discounted price. The assistant informed me that as part of the promotion I get 2 x 50ml Sneaker Cleaners for free. When I got home, my son informed me that the 'better" pair of rugby boots is also on promotion, and we opted to go for the 'upgrade" version of the boot. When I got to Totalsports in High Street I found out that I was charged R99.95 x 2 for the Sneaker Cleaners. I was misled by the lady at the Mountain Mill branch. I then went back to the Mountain Mill branch to enquire why I was charged for things I didn't want. The lady explained that she charged me for the "FREE" Sneaker Cleaners to make up for the shortfall that the discount created. This ******* was explained to me as per normal procedure. I cannot be charged for products that stand their counters full.
