6 March 2020 I bought Asics tekkies of R1800. Today, 5 months later I took them back due to the material on BOTH shoes that tore at same place. This happened during lockdown and not having the freedom to move around as we wish, I only took them back today. I was told its wear and tear and they will not replace them. If i dont like it I can phone and speak to manager when she is in again (store or regional). So no effort to keep me happy or even placing people who is capable to making decisions in store. After 5 months, shoes should not look like mine. I was told the material will not tear when i asked, i was also told best on market is Asics. The reason for not wanting to replace them is because no one has ever brought back Asics, is that my problem??? They are not honoring their guarantee code. I cannot pay R1899.00 for shoes that I now have put in a bin after 5months, still in warrantee time. And no effort is made by the people of this store.
