SMS charges

I have been receiving SMS's notifications of my account balance and instalment for the last 5 months or so to date, and this month I finally received my statement in the mail and came across an sms charge being charged to my account.<br> For years I have been receiving statements in the mail and now all of a sudden sms's are being sent. I did not consent to sms notifications in terms of account payment reminders, as my record will reflect that I pay timeously every month. I do not see why I should be liable for the costs of the smses when I did not agree/request that service.<br> I would appreciate it if these total of these cost including the interest incurred were credited to my account.
