Price Hold

<p>Hi i am in the process of purchasing a Garmin Forerunner 235. The distributors Navworld have it priced at R4699. Since i was at Cape Union Mart i checked with them and Geraad (floor staff not a manager) agreed to match the price. Foschini suggested i speak with their buyer who refused to match or even beat the price. Said buyer suggested i save money by purchasing from Cape Union Mart. I posted on Foschini Facebook page and messaged them but no response. I found it strange that Foschini employs the buyer but he directs new business elsewhere. </p> <p>I learned that that Cape Union Mart truly deserve their reputation. Hats off to them. Oh and Navworld the Garmin Distributors are exceptional.</p> <p>Yes i do understand the price Foschini paid at the time they purchased the device, but weigh that against diminishing returns in terms of holding on to stock whilst others sell stock.</p>
