Poor Service - Unwillingness to Assist

<p>I went to Eastgate Totalsports, desperately looking for an Aresenal 2016/17 season Home Jersey which I described to the assistant on the shop floor, whom I approached for help. Kagiso who was helping me said that they didn't have it in stock. When I asked him to check which other branch may have it, he told me that he couldn't as he did not have the item with the code. He also let me know that if Eastgate did not have the stock, it was unlikely that other branches would have as new stock goes to Eastgate 1st.This unwillingness to help was shocking. How hard can asking another branch if they have a red and white ****nal jersey be, instead of suggesting that i go try another branch or the competitor, Cross Trainer. He eventually called a branch, which didn't have the jersey and they suggested he call Fourways. When he called Fourways and they didn't pick up, he just told me that they are not picking up and that was the end of him helping me. I needed that jersey to give as a gift the next day and buying it online was not an option. The next morning I took it upon myself to call Fourways & Sandton City, something that should have been done at branch level. I would have driven to Sandton that evening to collect the jersey, but I had to do it the next morning after helping myself. I sure will think twice before going to Eastgate Totalsports to look for something in particular. I am really not interested in getting an apology phone call from Kagiso as commanded by his employer, I just want The Foschini Group to sort out their service at this branch, it's ridiIiculous. Other retailers bend over backwards to ensure that the customer is satisfied and I believe my request was simple. </p>
