Poor customer care and negligence

I ordered Adidas sandals for my one year old and I was told they are being ordered from Kroonstad Total sports since the store did not have the size that I wanted. The predication was that the shoes will be delivered within 5 working days. The shoes were ordered on Friday the 6th of December, I was told that I will receive an sms once the shoes are in the Bloemfontein store. That never happened until I decided to call the store on Tuesday the 17th and spoke to a lady called Charlotte, who told me that the shoes have just arrived. Fast forward to today the 19th, I sent my partner to the store to go and collect the shoes only to find that the shoes are nowhere to be found. Spoke to the store manager and he told me that that order was not mine. So now my question is why was I **** to when I called on Tuesday? Mind you I live 110 kilometers outside Bloemfontein. So my time and petrol were wasted only to be told that they will put in another order for me as no one in the shop seems to know what happened to those pair of shoes. Christmas is around the corner and the fact that my child might not get them on time for Christmas makes me so FURIOUS!
