Paying the price for a new item but was second hand

So I bought a tTomTom runner 3 which just went dead in 4 months, I took it over to TotalSports pavilion to book it in to TomTom. TotalSports advised that it will take 10 days for me to have my watch back, in the meantime, it's my problem if it causes a financial implication with Discovery's active rewards system. Fast forward to 4 weeks later, and many phone calls, Totalsports says that TomTom will send me a NEW device in 3 weeks time, but in the meantime, they will give me one from the shelf, that is ok with me, because I like the device. Upon opening the device, I found the box to be off shaped, figured that it's only a box and as long as the watch is good, I'm ok, the watch works perfectly, but, when trying to sync my activity today, I discovered that the watch had been used before and forced a reset as it sayspushed that it was purchased second hand, it had an activity for the 19th of November and was connected to "Rocky's iPhone", I don't even own an iPhone. The thing which annoyed me was the fact that the sticker was put on the glass to make it look like it was new, this is deception. I was now made to pay full price for a second hand item! This is completely unacceptable as TomTom is sending the store a brand new device, why should I get the second hands? I need this rectified asap! As I said, I don't mind the device, but don't deceive me, I expect either of 2 things, a discount in the form of aher partial refund in cash (not the kind where I can only use at tfg) or a brand new device!
