Pathetic

Two weeks ago, today we visited the New Market store to purchase my daughter some shoes for her birthday. The store did not have the specific shoes in stock as it turned out to be an online item only - Adidas 00 Campus. The guy that assisted us insisted that we should order the shoes online from their instore portal and that all we would need to do is buy a voucher in store and then they will get the shoes delivered to our house by the next Wednesday. Wednesday came and gone and when we started to enquire, nobody seemed to know jack about the order and the fact that they ordered it, in store via their online portal. After some back and forth the most useless manager eventually started handling the case and they then advised that the shoes will be delivered by Friday (now a week since the order was placed). Anyway, this never happened. they then contacted Bash as this is their online store and they confirmed that they did email us to advise there are issues with delivery and that they were at our house but there was nobody there (both myself and my wife work from home and we are basically here 24/7 and on top of that we never supp**** anybody with an email address so not sure who they were mailing). Eventually they said the contact number they have is incorrect and they were hooting at our gate, so we gave them the correct number and advised them not to hoot as the gate is far from our unit, and we can't hear hooting from our house. From there they promised that they will deliver tomorrow, then today and then tomorrow or the next day and so it carried on, everyday excuse after excuse. Then eventually 11 days later, I get a call from my neighbour, someone is hooting at the gate, and they think it's for me, by the time I got outside they were gone, again no phone call just hooting, after we told them we can't hear hooting and they need to call, (not rocket science). Anyway, we immediately called them, and they said they will come back later that day, again nothing, then they promised the next day, and the next and now we are again on Friday two weeks later, still no gift for my daughter's birthday. Now they send an email saying they have sent the shoes back to the warehouse, it will take up to 5 days then they will refund our money. In all my years of buying things online, never ever have I had an unpleasant experience like this These people are the most unprofessional, uncaring people and they do not deserve your business. They will waste your time and argivale the **** out of you. Keep your money and rather shop somewhere else. Pathetic!
